Not all CE marks are CE marks

Some manufactures pretend to have a CE marked product by using Chinese Export mark.

The original is in black, and the counterfeit is in brown

You can find in the picture the back of an original HP laptop power supply and a cheap Chinese mouse.

  1. It’s not a “counterfeit mark” That is a China Export mark. It has a different meaning (simply, that a product was manufactured in China). The European Conformance mark is proportional to two circles with the edges touching; the China Export mark has the circles overlapping, so the C and E are closer together.
